Join us for a School of Apocalypse Monthly Meeting held at the Brooklyn Museum. We will consider the notion of urgency today: how it guides our thinking, directs our action, and affects our bodies. What is urgent now? How do we tell the difference between hype and urgency? Who does our urgency serve? How can creative practice be guided by multiple, and at times competing, urgencies? Can it be guided by none at all?
We will also be discussing SoA programming and structure for the coming months, which will include a conversation about how to propose a Working Group for the fall cycle, which begins in October. Anyone interested in proposing or joining a Working Group is encouraged to attend.
